OHRD’s primary service is the District Grant Program.
OHRD awards grants annually for Solid Waste Reduction in the District’s five-county service region. “Solid Waste Reduction” includes recycling, public education, and other programs that reduce solid waste generation. Individuals, businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and government entities may apply. The grant call opens in the fall and the awards are made in the spring.
